HOME REJUVENATION
If we have to spend more time indoors, there are plenty of practical things to do, that most of us keep putting off. Here are some suggestions to keep you busy and rejuvenate your home ready for the Spring Season.
DE-CLUTTER YOUR KITCHEN
Run through all your various drawers & cupboards throwing out anything that has past its use by date. Get rid of any excess Tupperware and random bits & pieces that you never use. Vacuum & clean the base of all drawers and cupboards before returning all items back.
ORGANISE YOUR WARDROBE
Get rid of pieces that you never wear. Place into bags ready to take to charity shops or share with friends, at an appropriate time. As Spring is settling in, reorganise your seasonal clothes to have them easily accessible. If you don't have much wardrobe space, pack away those winter clothes and replace them with your spring/summer ones. Remember to store clothing in a clean, cool, dark and dry place to protect them, if you don't have vacuum pack bags.
ORGANISE YOUR BOOK SHELVES
For your bookcases, take the books off and separate them into books to be given away, stored or to stay on shelves. Reorganise your books and perhaps classify them by size or subject. Line books, vertically, horizontally or both
REBALANCE YOUR FURNITURE ARRANGEMENT
Try out some new furniture combinations and move around your art and home accessories. Repositioning and rebalancing can create lots of positive energy in your home.
